Appointed missionaries since 1988, Terry is a third-generation missionary to Brazil where he was born and raised, while Beth is a pastor's daughter from Montana. Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world. Population - 202 million; 150 million still need to accept Christ as Savior. The Johnsons lead/direct: Brazil Extension School of Theology (BEST) - currently 20,000 students in 12 countries. 50,000 graduates since its founding in 1979. Brazil Advanced School of Theology (BAST) - Bachelor's and Master's programs, with 1,500 students currently studying. Children Of Brazil Outreach and Latin America ChildCare country coordinators - Building Christian Schools with child sponsorship in needy areas. Terry is also assistant pastor for the Varginha church and 30 satellite churches, founded by his missionary grandfather. Beth is involved in music ministry, leading choirs in the city of Campinas. They also host medical outreaches with HealthCare Ministries teams.
