Doris Johnson has served as an Assemblies of God minister for 52 years. She and her late husband, Dr. Bernhard Johnson, spent 3 years in home missions in California before initiating their world wide evangelism crusades that took them to 65 nations. In 225 major crusades in the nation of Brazil, they saw 1,800,000 persons pray the sinner's prayer to receive Jesus Christ as Savior, as well as great multitudes healed and delivered from demon possession.

In her present stateside ministry as President of Bernhard Johnson Ministries USA, Doris travels extensively throughout the nation speaking for missions conventions, women's conferences, and prayer retreats. While in Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, she served as Secretary to the first national Women's Ministries Director, and has always carried a tremendous burden for evangelism by and for women.

Doris is the devoted mother of 3 children and doting grandmother of 5 grand-children and 2 great grand-children.
